<description>Without knowing the particulars I can only guess. But I will guess that the videos you tried to convert were mpg (MPEG) format. The mpg (MPEG) format is a stream with audio and video multiplexed. This can not be converted using QuickTime Pro. Try MPEG Steamclip (free) and see this post on my blog: http://www.reelsmart.com/2005/12/05/video-and-the-ipod-for-mac-users/. See the section on MPEG video. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

<description>iSquint is an OS X application. I have not tried this personally as I use a Mac for this. But for Windows try Xilisoft iPod Video Converter (http://www.xilisoft.com/ipod-video-converter.html). You can find this on VersionTracker.com. iSquint for OS X is free, Xilisoft iPod Video Converter is a shareware that costs $29, you can buy QuickTime Pro for $29.99. That is why I did not mention it in my post. I am not aware of a free app for Windows for this, although one may exist.
