OK, you are listening to iTunes, the phone rings. You need to stop iTunes. Do you want iTunes to start the track where you left off?

Here’s how:
Control +click (or right click for multi-button mouse users) on the track in the iTunes.

Choose Get Info from the contextual menu.

Click the Options tab.

Check “Remember playback position”, then click OK.

Whenever you pause that particular track and then select Play, iTunes will start the track where you paused it, instead of the beginning.

This especially works well on long concerts that you would not want to go all the way back to the beginning.
