Using the Calendar is a great way to organize and find photos in your iPhoto Library.

Here’s how:
To get to the Calendar pane is easy. Just click with your mouse on the middle button that looks like a monthly calendar.

Now clicking on any month you can “sort” your photos by month.

Navigating the Calendar
Switch from the current year by using the navigation (up and down arrows) located on each side of the Calendar.

Double click on month and you can now view by week/day.

Week

Or day(s) to further sort photos. Note days that are bold indicate there are photos taken on this day.

You can select multiple days by Shift + clicking on days or using Command (Apple key) + clicking on days that are not in a row.

Days

This is one way to help you quickly find or sort your photos. Can be very helpful if you know the month the photo was probably taken. Example Holiday pictures… December.
