You can sync your Apple Address Book, iCal, and .Mac with Microsoft Entourage new version 11.2.3 (free update).

You need to turn on synchronization between Entourage calendars, address book, and notes in the Entourage preferences.

Here’s how:
Make sure you are running the latest version of Entourage. Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.3 Update.

Open Entourage and go to Entourage menu -> Preferences -> On the left, click Sync Services and check the items you want to sync.

Next you must do any or all of the following:
To share Entourage contacts with other programs and devices, select the Synchronize contacts with Address Book and .Mac check box, and then select an option in the Address Book pop-up menu (Exchange users only).

To share Entourage events and tasks with other programs and devices, select the Synchronize events and tasks with iCal and .Mac check box, and then select an option in the Calendar pop-up menu (Exchange users only).

To synchronize Entourage notes, select the Synchronize Entourage Notes with .Mac check box (.Mac account holders only).

Click OK, and then select an option in the following dialog box:

Note:
Now when you double click any .ics or .vcs file in the Finder to import it both into iCal and Entourage by just selecting the calendar named “Entourage” in iCal!
