Thumbscrew is a free simple application for OS X that does one thing well. Drop an image onto the program, and Thumbscrew makes a very cool thumbnail image instantly.

The images that are created can be tilted, in a frame, and have a drop shadow added.

Just drop your image on top of Thumbscrew and your thumbnail will be created instantly using the preferences selected.

All options are configurable, so you can use Thumbscrew to convert images for your blog, document, etc. Thumbscrew is now Universal for Intel and PPC Macs. Enjoy!
