iTunes Tip #47
Apple made managing multiple music libraries a whole lot easier with the iTunes 7 upgrade. No shareware or third-party add-ons needed. This can open up some new possibilities for iTunes users.
Here’s how:
To switch to another iTunes library is now fast and easy in iTunes 7. Just hold down the option key on your Mac (or shift key for Windows users) when you launch iTunes. iTunes will then open a dialog windows offering an option to create a new iTunes library or to choose a different iTunes library to use.

Having separate iTunes libraries opens up some new organization choices like a collection of audio books, music tracks, or kids videos that can be separate from your main iTunes library.
