OS X Tip #147
Quickly save content in any cocoa application. The content is not limited to text. Pictures are welcome. Maybe you have a phone number, a map with directions, a photo, or a web address. Saving this content to a Sticky note is fast and easy.
Here’s how:
Highlight the content and use this keyboard shortcut: Shift + Command + Y
You Mac will launch Stickies, an included OS X application and place the content (text and images) inside a Sticky note on your desktop. How handy is that? If you never used Stickies, now you may have a reason to.
