Make sure when you setup Sling with the Wizard you select Verizon. I Verizon is not in the menu try to find the Motorola box that FiOS uses.

i placed the verizon.spr in the remote folder and i still can't select the verizon remote. then i tried to rename the original comcast.spr file to comcast.spr.old and then renaming the original verizon.spr to comcast.spr to see if i could trick the system. no such luck, the comcast remote still popped up. any ideas? i am on sling v1.5.0.322.

thanks for your time,
Bobby

Interesting article. I am a FiOS user as well, the comcast remote works, but it has a few problems, I would like to see how the verizon fios remote differs. Please send me the remote file as well.
