According to CrunchGear, Apple has heard the complaints and will “remedy” the situation. Unfortunately for some folks that had been trying to replace their iPod touch to Apple retail stores have had to pay a restocking fee (to the tune of $30-$40). These defective iPod touch screens appear very dark and are hard to watch video and can appear to have a “negative” effect, resembling LCDs viewed at off angles.
