OS X Tip #152
Have you ever been annoyed by the Caps Lock key on your keyboard. Usually this happens after you just YELLED AT SOMEONE by accident in an email or IM. Or you are just tired of re-typing text in a document. Well actually disabling the Caps Lock key is quite easy and does not require to remove keys from your keyboard or dive into Terminal with a UNIX book.
Here’s how:
Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse (under Hardware) -> Keyboard pane. Now click on the Modifier Key button.

Select the drop down menu on the Caps Lock and simply choose “No Action.” The Caps Lock will no longer annoy you.
