Some Mac OS X 10.5.2 screenshots have cropped up on some sites showing some new features that may fix some of the most complained about changes the Mac OS.

The Transparent menu bar may become optional and can be set in Desktop Preferences.

Returning the List view to folders on the Dock may make its return allowing the Stacks feature in Leopard to be optional.

Other changes are also shown:

  • DVD/CD sharing preferences, allowing you to share your optical drive with the upcoming MacBook Air (or another Mac).

    • Changes to Time Machine may include a new menubar pulldown that gives you the status, allows you to initiate a backup, open preferences and the time of the last backup. Network drives may also be enabled with Time Machine allowing wireless backups.
