According to Om Malik, the USB727 USB modem I reviewed recently works with the MacBook Air. I use this with Macs and Windows PCs to connect to Verizon’s EVDO network. I was glad to hear that it fit the MacBook Air also. I have my fitted with a 6GB MicroSDHC card i bought for $65.35 from Amazon as it includes a integrated microSD slot. With the MacBook Air 80GB hard drive this extra storage could prove invaluable to some people.
