If you are a Sirius Satellite Radio subscriber and use a Mac you will want the free Starplayr by NiceMac.

Not only does Starplayr allow you to listen to Sirius on your Mac, but it can also record the Sirius channel converting the broadcast ASF format to MP3’s which are then automatically added your iTunes library. Now this is cool. You can even record one channel while you listen to another, think TiVo for Sirius on your Mac.

You can record the Howard Stern Show for listening on your iPod using the included iCal scripts, allowing you to automate the recording of your favorite shows. No more waking up at 6 AM to record or listen. You can even Pause the music.

The music player can display track information like – artist, title and album. Starplayr can also display album art of the currently playing track, but does take up quite a bit of desktop real estate.

Maybe we will see an iPhone version of Starplayr in the App Store coming in June. That will give you Sirius Radio on your iPhone and iPod touch!
