A full-fledged version of Google News is now available to iPhone and iPod touch users in over 30 countries.

With your iPhone or iPod touch, go to www.google.com, click on the “more” tab and follow the link to Google News or go directly to Google News at http://news.google.com.

Apple’s iPhone is now the most popular phone for uploading pictures according to Flickr, the world’s largest gallery of online pictures.

Flickr tracks the number of pictures uploaded by each type of camera phone and the iPhone comes out on top.

Apple announced that several movie studios will now be releasing digital versions of their movies for sale on the same day as the DVD. Now Apple TV users have the option of buying movies directly from the Apple TV, under a new section called “Top Sellers.” Before today you could only rent movies from Apple TV.

With rumors flying after Apple being a “no show” at NAB this year, Apple denies Final Cut Pro is NOT going anywhere.

Apple today announced that new movie releases from major film studios and premier independent studios are available for purchase on the iTunes Store on the same day as their DVD release. New releases and catalog titles will be available from 20th Century Fox, The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Lionsgate, Image Entertainment and First Look Studios.

AT&T is launching its new video service for mobile phones on Sunday. AT&T Mobile TV is almost identical to Verizon Wireless’ VCAST offer and is operated by the same company, Qualcomm’s MediaFLO.

AT&T must have written a slightly larger check as they will have two exclusive channels on the service. AT&T will offer this new service on two phones, and will charge $15 per month for 10 channels.

AT&T wifi hotspots are open and “free” to iPhone owners that have an AT&T account.

Using an iPhone on an AT&T hotspot is quite easy as 1-2-3:

1) Start up your iPhone’s browser, discover the wifi network.

2) Input your 10-digit mobile number when prompted.

3) Surf!

Starbucks, Apple music partner has switched network providers from T-Mobile to AT&T bringing “free” access nationwide, soon anybody can enjoy two hours of continuous wifi a day at any Starbucks location.
