What’s with these odd symbols and what do they mean on my Mac? I have gotten this question many times, usually from Windows switchers.

The symbols they are usually asking about are for the Control, Option, and Command keys on the Mac’s keyboard.

The Control and Command keys on Windows PCs are reversed as compared to the Mac. Also The Option key on the Mac is called and acts quite a bit similar as he Alt key on a Windows PC.
