OK, lets say you are playing some music in the iPod app on your iPhone and the iPod app is not visible as you may be using another app like checking stock prices, weather, mail or maybe surfing the web. Instead of quitting one app and re-launching the iPod app, then going back to the app you were in, there is a much better way.

Here’s how:
Let’s say you started the play music on your iPhone’s iPod app.

Then you press the “home” button once to make the iPod app disappear (it will still play).

Now you want to look up some depressing stock prices. A song comes on you want to skip. Simply double click the “home” button and instantly the iPod controls pop up.

This will save you time!
