iPhone Tip #29
You can save any photo or image as Wallpaper that will be the background image on your iPhone. This includes the pictures you take with your iPhone’s camera, photos you see on the web or photos you are emailed.

Here’s how:
Any picture you receive in an email or see while using Safari on your iPhone must be saved to your iPhone’s Camera Roll. See iPhone Tip #22: Save Images in Safari and Mail for more info.

Once saved, you can access the picture in Photos -> Camera Roll. Find the picture you want to use as Wallpaper and click on the icon at the bottom left.

If the icon does not show up, touch the picture once and it will.

Now select “Use As Wallpaper.”

Now you can move and scale the picture to your liking using two fingers by pitching to zoom and scale and one finger to move the image.

Then just touch the Set Wallpaper button. Done!
