This one is dead simple. Apple added this as part of the 2.2 firmware release. This is very handy, especially if you are like me and have 9 full pages of apps on your iPhone and the default apps are mostly on the first page.

Here’s how:
To quickly get back to the first home screen if you on any other screen of apps.

Just press the “Home” button once. Your iPhone will quickly scroll to the first page of apps.
