Google brings public beta of Picasa 3 to the Mac. Picasa requires any Intel-based Mac using Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or higher.

Roxio releases Toast 10 ($99.99) and Toast 10 Pro ($149.99) that has adds Sonicfire Pro soundtrack creation, SoundSoap audio noise reduction, FotoMagico high-def slideshows, and LightZone visual photo editing to the suite. Roxio is offering a $20 instant rebate if purchased online (mail-in rebate for box sale).

Macworld 2009 keynote, Apple’s supposed last one will start tomorrow Tuesday, January 6th at 12 Noon EST with Phil Schiller, Apple Senior VP of Worldwide Product Marketing delivering the message.
As usual the rumors are flying – New sleek Mac mini, Snow Leopard, new iMacs, Mac touch netbook, new iPhone, 64 GB iPod touch, Apple Media Server, updated Apple TV – your guess is as good and anybody else.

There is no doubt that the iPhone can make an impressive business tool. With apps like Soonr [iTunes link] coming to the iPhone seeing the potential of the iPhone for business users gets clearer.
