Microsoft demo of Project Natal (codenamed) at E3 today it, is a controllerless game control system using a 3-D camera and an array of motion sensors to capture player movements and translate them into in-game actions. Microsoft says Natal will support voice and facial recognition and multiple players by the time it launches. Just when that will be is anyone’s guess; it’s unlikely to be in 2009. Looks cool, but without a launch date I have nothing more to say about it.

Why wait for Tuesday? Apple brings us iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2 which is recommended for all Mac and Windows users.

iTunes 8.2 introduces support for the yet-to-be-released iPhone 3.0 firmware. QuickTime 7.6.2 adds enhanced security, enhances compatibility with Apple’s ProRes video format, and is also necessary for full compatibility with iTunes 8.2.
