300 Bowl, $0.99 – fun bowling game play aginst computer or another person on the same iPhone or iPod touch. Now in 3D and Classic 2D! The most realistic bowling experience on the iPhone! The sound effects in the game add to 300 Bowls realistic feel, with the sounds of a ball rolling and pins being smashed and scattered. Play alone, against a computerized opponent or play a friend in two player mode, handing the phone off between turns.
Air Hockey, $0.99 – Nice Air Hockey game for the iPhone or iPod touch. There are several of these, but I like this one the best. You can play against the iPhone or another person on the same iPhone or iPod touch.
AirHockey, $1.99 – Another nice Air Hockey game. Similar to the one above. I liked both of these.
Aqua Forest – Powered By Octaveengine? Casual , $7.99 – very cool game based on particle-based physics models. Fun with nice graphics.
Arcade Bowling, $1.99 – skeeball, the boardwalk bowling game on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Asphalt4 Elite Racing, $5.99 – this is probably the best racing game on the iPhone or iPod touch right now. Great graphics, multi-player over WiFi and pretty deep game play. Like the controls.
Billy Frontier, $3.99 (sale price) – fun adventure and arcade game featuring a space cowboy.
Brothers In Arms Hour of Heroes, $9.99 – nice high quality game with great graphics and fun gameplay.
Cannon Challenge, free – fun artillery game.
Chopper, $1.99 – nice chopper rescue game. I already spent too much time playing this.
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, $5.99 – 12 tracks of kart racing that uses your iPhone or iPod touch accelerometers to control your racer.
Cro-Mag Rally, $1.99 (sale price) – This racing game has been around for quite awhile and the iPhone/iPod touch version is lots of fun for all ages.
Crosswords, $9.99 – very nice crossword puzzle to play with new ones everyday.
Dactyl, free – fast paced game that will keep your fingers busy. If you like this also look at Dactyl 2, $2.99.
Deep Green (Chess) , $7.99 – beautiful Chess application for iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a feature-rich application in a simple, intuitive and very pleasing user interface. This is a re-write of the Newton version.
Enigmo, $1.99 (sale price) – 3D puzzle game where you move streams of liquid. Fun.
Fastlane Street Racing, $3.99 – great racing game that looks as good as any PSP game. One of the best racing games on the iPhone when it comes to detail and graphics.
Fieldrunners, $4.99 – great game with nice graphics. Defend and control the field using a diverse selection of upgradeable towers in a limitless adventure, using a wide array of tactics and strategies against countless waves of unique land and air combatants!
GTS World Racing, $4.99 – Nice racing game that uses the iPhone and iPod touch accelerometers to steer. Others three car types, 64 tracks and 16 locations.
Hangman, $0.99 – Traditional hangman game with decent graphics. There is also a free version with ads.
iBowl, free – uses your iPhone like a Wii remote for bowling. Lots of fun, but hold on tight to your expensive iPhone.
iGolf, free – Swing your iPhone or iPod touch like a golf club and gauge your swing. Allows you to pick from three clubs. Fun.
Killer Pool, $2.99 – nice pool game for iPhone or iPod touch. Includes 5 different games: 8 BALL, 9 BALL and UK BLACK BALL (Eight Ball). KILLER – The classic multiplayer game for up to 10 players.
OCTOKILLER – A unique version of Killer played on an octagonal table, where players eliminate each other by sinking their balls, with the last remaining player victorious.
Line Rider iRide, $2.99 – A nice iPhone/iPod touch version of the online game. Simple and fun. Draw a line and watch Bosh ride on it.
Labyrinth, $6.99 – Classic board that makes perfect use of the iPhone’s accelerometer. This game has 500 levels some created by the community of users. Try Labyrinth Lite Edition for free, it has 10 playable levels. I love this game on the iPhone.
METAL GEAR SOLID TOUCH (US), $7.99 – “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots,” the latest chapter in the record-setting 26 .5 million-seller game series “Metal Gear” is being reborn on the iPhone/iPod touch! No explanation needed for followers of this game.
MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition, $4.99 – award winning Monopoly game for the iPhone and iPod touch.
MotionX Poker, $2.99 – One of my favorites on the iPhone (works on iPod touch also), a real bargain. Shake the iPhone and “feel” the dice in your hand! Also check out MotionX Poker Quest, $2.99, MotionX Poker Quest Lite- free, and MotionX Dice, free.
Moto Chaser, $0.99 – Motorcycle race game with jumps and turns.
Nanosaur 2, $3.99 – a port of the popular Mac game comes to the iPhone. Great graphics and fun game play flying your fire powered dinosaur around.
Payback, $6.99 – If you are a GTA fan you may like this game. Basically a 3D version of the old top-down GTA gameplay, improved with better rendering and lighting.
Quordy, $2.99 – the touch-play, word search game! The object is to form words among the 16 letter tiles. Can be played alone or against friends and is perfect for play on-the-go. Shake or touch your iPhone or iPod Touch to jumble the letters and begin a game.
Real Soccer 2009, $5.99 – Great 3D soccer game that uses an on-screen D pad. Next update with bring multi-player mode over WiFi. Deep game with 128 teams with real players and 12 stadiums.
Rolando, $9.99 – Rolandoland has been invaded and the Rolandos need your help! Use innovative tilt, tap and Multi-Touch controls to solve physics puzzles, toy with interactive environments, and evade pesky enemies as you lead the Rolandos to victory.
School of Rock, $3.99 – trust me this is not only an ad for a movie. It is actually a pretty entertaining game and music training app. Pretty well done.
SCRABBLE, $4.99 – Play the famous Scrabble on your iPhone or iPod touch either against the iPhone or in multi-plyer mode over your WiFi network.
Sea Battle, $0.99 – fun game with decent graphics were you use your subs torpedoes to blow up enemy ships.
Shufflepuck, $1.99 – recreates the experience of bar room table shuffleboard in 3D on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Loads of fun, brought back some beer memories.
SimCity, $9.99 – It’s the SimCity™ you know and love, made specifically for your iPhone™ and iPod touch™. And, if you’re new to the SimCity universe, prepare yourself for one of the most engaging, addicting games you’ve ever played. Take charge and create entire cities from the ground up – the sky’s the limit!
Sol Free Solitaire, free – If you like Klondike you may like this solitaire game for the iPhone or iPod touch.
Space Monkey, $0.99 – fun time waster. As the Space Monkey floats thru space help him grab, dodge and deflect space garbage. There is also Space Monkey: Free
Spinner Prologue, free – Maze puzzle game where you navigate without hitting the walls. They also offer an expanded game called Spinner Deluxe for $1.99.
Super Monkey Ball, $7.99 – One of my favorite games on the iPhone or iPod touch. I love the graphics, but it takes a while to get used to the controls.
Tank Ace 1944, $0.99 – WWII tank game.
Tap Tap Revenge, free – Music game a bit like Guitar Hero. There is a two player mode. They also offer Nine Inch Nails Revenge, $4.99
Texas Hold’Em, $4.99 – Nice game for Texas Hold’Em fans. You will like the graphics and gameplay.
Tiny Violin, $0.99 – Play the violin and show your care to your friends.
Touch Hockey FS5, $1.99 – great air hockey game with instant replay that offers multi-player over WiFi. Also check out Touch Hockey FS5 (free).
TouchSports Tennis ‘09, $0.99 – arcade style tennis game, action packed character animation, and a dynamic camera system that brings you into the action. TouchSports has nice graphics and is a lot of fun.
Trism, $2.99 – If you like Tetris or Bejeweled you may love Trism. Trism offers new touch and tilt gameplay.
Virtual Pool, $1.99 – Best simulation pool game on iPhone or iPod touch. I liked it better than Pool or Vegas Pool Sharks.
Vegas Pool Sharks, $1.99 – nice pool game at a nice sale price. Get it now at the lower price. You can try Vegas Pool Sharks Lite, free.
Wolfenstein 3D Classic, $4.99 – Play the legendary original game that launched the First Person Shooter genre. You are OSA super agent B.J. Blazkowicz and you must escape from Castle Wolfenstein and defeat the twisted Nazi regime!
WordPop!, $1.99 – Part puzzle, part word creation, and all fun.
Wurdle, $1.99 – this word game is addicting and perfect for subway commuting or on a break from work. It also offers online scoring so you can see how you are doing against others. I am addicted to this game.
X-Plane 9, $9.99 – Flight simulator for the iPhone based on the popular FAA approved version for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Amazing app for the iPhone and iPod touch. They also offer X-Plane-Helicopter, $4.99 and X-Plane-Airliner, $4.99.
